Causes of Low Self-Esteem
There can be many causes of low self-esteem.
Lack of Money
Wealth and self-esteem is a tricky area. In todays materialistic world, those with more money are often looked at differently then those who don’t, therefore many people are looking for ways to make more money. You should not need wealth in your life to feel good about yourself and wealth should not define self-worth. However, if you are interested in earning more money, thanks to the internet, there are now ways for you to make money from your home.
The very first step to learning how to attract money, before you do anything else, is deciding on an exact amount which you expect to receive by an exact deadline. Now, don’t be unreasonable about this and expect to have $1 million in three months if you’ve never made more than $20,000 a year. Just set a small goal for yourself like $10,000 in the next six months. Once you achieve this, you’ll have the confidence to move on to bigger and better things. Now, the secret to making this work is deciding that you’re going to have the money without worrying about how you’re going to do it.
This is because it’s much easier to make money and or even manifest prosperity once you’ve decided that you’re going to do it. Just think about the last time you absolutely had to come up with a certain amount of money. Did you do it? If so, you probably had no idea how you were going to do it at first…you just knew that you had to do it and you decided that you were going to. As you’ll soon discover, that expectation was what made all the difference.
If you want to know how to attract money and you haven’t been able to up to this point in your life, it’s probably because you haven’t become obsessed with your goal. Now, you don’t want to get obsessed with money… that’s not the point. Instead, set a specific goal for what you plan on doing with the money and get obsessed with the goal itself. It can be putting $10,000 into an emergency fund so that you can start your own business or it can be buying a new car. No matter what it is, the goal is more important than the amount of money needed to achieve it.
Think about it, no one really wants money anyway…we want the things money can buy. Focusing on trying to make money alone will never build a strong desire. Instead focus on the reason you want to make money or manifest prosperity, and become obsessed with that reason.
If you know how to attract money, it makes everything else in your life a breeze. Just think about how much easier it would be for you to find the time to exercise, to purchase nutritious foods and to get your health in order. Just think about how much easier it would be for you to devote time to building relationships if you knew the secret to how to make money and manifest prosperity. And just think about how much easier it would be for you to find the time and the resources to accomplish any goal if you just had more financial resources.
As you’re obsessing over your goal for how to attract money, it’s important for you to start working as hard as you can to achieve your goal. Even if the strategy which you are currently applying is insufficient for earning the money, just keep focusing on your goal and eventually your subconscious mind will start presenting ideas to you. When it does, it will be much easier for you to transfer the momentum which you have established by working hard with what you have. What you’ll find is that having clear expectations and a burning obsession will help you to begin discovering the hidden opportunities which will make it possible for you to learn how to attract money.
Overweight
It’s hard when you’re self conscious about the way you look. It can cause low self-esteem. Deciding to lose weight is something we have all done at one point. However, it can be a complicated process. It can involve water intake, watching what you eat, exercising, and even supplements.
Eat Less – Move More
One of the easiest rules to remember when it comes to losing weight is to eat less and move more. It isn’t so much the amount of calories you consume, but the type of calories and how fast you’re burning them. It’s the little things that count: Take the stairs, park at the end of the lot (during the day) or take a brisk walk on your lunch hour. Just thirty minutes of cardio and strength training three times per week can help you lose weight.
Cut the Junk
Foods containing high fructose corn syrup, aspartame, food dyes and other preservatives keep you overweight. Cut the junk from your diet and turn to whole foods such as organic chicken, red meat and fish, vegetables, fruits, nuts, legumes and whole grains.
Drink More Water
Ditch the soda and drink plenty of pure, filtered water or herbal tea instead.
Improve Your Digestion
Sometimes the inability to lose weight is due in part to poor digestion. Adding digestive enzymes, probiotics and fiber to your diet may help. Digestive enzymes help break down food, probiotics help the body absorb nutrients from food and fiber helps flush out unhealthy waste.
Don’t fall for the diet pill and shake traps. Just a few lifestyle adjustments may be all you need to have the body of your dreams.
Intelligence
When it comes to boosting your self esteem, there are few things that are as effective as finding out that you are a smart person to give your sense of self-worth a boost. Many people consider themselves of average intelligence, but you can actually do different activities that will help you increase your intelligence as well as your self esteem.
Many people have low self esteem simply because they feel that they are not as intelligent as those around them, but that is something that can be remedied. You can easily work to make yourself smarter, and the mind is just like any muscle that can be strengthened with training. You can do a few things to help you exercise your mind and become smarter, and you will find that it is one of the best ways to give your self esteem that boost it needed.
The best but hardest way to boost your intelligence is to pull yourself out from in front of your TV or computer. You would be surprised at how much time you spend wasting time on social networks, video games, your favorite TV programs, or simply on whatever is playing on TV. Your mind gets so accustomed to having entertainment and input fed to it, and it simply gets lazy. Getting out from in front of the TV will force you to find something useful to entertain yourself and fill your time with, and you will find that you will end up not even missing TV or computer time once you have “unplugged” yourself.
Surprisingly, exercise is directly linked to your intelligence. Those who do exercise have the potential to be a lot smarter than those who don’t, simply because exercising the body ensures that it functions properly. Instead of being tired all of the time, you will feel energized and invigorated if you do exercise, which will help you to have a good deal more focus and concentration when studying or learning. Also, establishing the habit of exercising will help you to prioritize and manage your time properly, which you can use to help you in your study and learning.
Reading is the best thing that you can do to increase your intelligence, and reading books that are challenging is even better for you. Rather than picking up the nearest novel, try reading classic literature. You will find that reading in different styles will help to expand your understanding of literature, cultures, different periods of history, and your vocabulary will expand greatly.
Another important factor in being intelligent is sleeping enough, and you should make an effort to sleep no less than 8 hours a night if you are serious about becoming smarter. When you are tired, your body is unable to function at its best, and you feel tired, lethargic, and you end up underperforming. Sleeping enough at night is the best way to ensure that your mind and body functions at peak performance.
Always take time to stop and think, and you will find that spending just 15 minutes sitting and thinking about important things will help to make you smarter. Thinking doesn’t mean letting your mind wander, but it means really examining different important things and giving them due consideration. Your thinking will help you to become smarter, as it establishes in your mind the habit of reflecting on what is important.
